Qualifications Requirements
PhD/Doctorate in Management Information Systems, Entrepreneurship, Strategic Management, or a closely related discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
Master’s degree in Management Information Systems, Entrepreneurship, Strategic Management, or a relevant area from an accredited institution.
Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Entrepreneurship, Strategic Management, or a related field from a recognized university.
At least thirty-two (32) publication points as a Lecturer or Senior Research Fellow, of which twenty-four (24) must be from refereed journal articles.
Supervision of at least two (2) postgraduate students.
Proven ability to attract research funding in the role of Lecturer or Research Fellow.
Participation in academic conferences, seminars, and workshops with active contributions.
Proof of membership in a relevant professional body.
Demonstrated leadership experience, including administrative roles and involvement in departmental, school, university, national or international activities.

Duties and Responsibilities of Teaching Faculty
Deliver lectures in subject areas assigned by the Head of Department.
Design, develop, and implement course content for new or existing programs at various academic levels.
Conduct high-quality lectures and hands-on sessions.
Supervise clinical placements, ensuring students gain practical experience in real-world settings such as hospitals or clinics.
Regularly review and update course materials as needed.
Work collaboratively with colleagues on course design, curriculum updates, and research development.
Engage in research and prepare grant proposals for funding.
Participate in consultancy assignments.
Present research findings at both national and international academic events.
Share research outcomes through appropriate channels.
Mentor students and fellow staff, offering guidance on academic and career matters.
Ensure academic practices comply with the standards of the Nursing Council of Kenya.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisors or outlined in your detailed job description.
