Role Purpose
This role plays a vital part in managing and triaging Change Requests received by the TDIT team on an ongoing basis. These requests are essential to ensure that small to medium-sized changes or new initiatives are properly reviewed, prioritized, scoped, and costed in a timely fashion, ultimately supporting the continued successful delivery of our programs for children. Requests may involve both system and non-system changes.

Accountabilities
- Lead and manage data governance processes, ensuring business stakeholders are effectively engaged and supported in the use of our data infrastructure
- Define and maintain clear expectations for business functions regarding their data responsibilities, including maintaining data definitions and data quality
- Improve and structure data availability so business users have easy access to accurate, actionable information
- Chair key forums such as the Product Owners Forum and Analytics Community of Practice to encourage collaboration and shared learning across the organization
- Take ownership of cross-functional data products to ensure that reporting and analytics tools meet stakeholder needs while upholding data integrity
- Work closely with IT to integrate technical and business aspects of data management processes, ensuring a cohesive and efficient approach
Experience and Skills
Essential
- Data Governance Expertise: Proven experience leading the implementation of data governance frameworks, data catalogues, metadata, and quality initiatives within large organizations
- Data Quality Management: Strong background in managing data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across multiple systems
- Analytics and Reporting Tools: Proficient in tools like Tableau, Power BI, or SAS
- Team Leadership: Skilled in leading cross-functional teams in alignment with SCI’s values
- Stakeholder Engagement: Demonstrated ability to work with and manage diverse business stakeholders
- Facilitation: Experienced in chairing technical forums and simplifying complex data concepts for broad understanding
- Technical-Non-Technical Integration: Comfortable bridging IT and business processes in data management
- Strategic Vision: Able to drive global data governance strategy and apply innovative thinking to solve challenges
