Key Responsibilities
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Sales, Customer Success, Project Managers, and Delivery to implement effective client solutions. Act as a technical expert on Sama’s platform, clearly understanding its functionalities and constraints. Engage directly with clients to capture complex requirements and guide them on how to integrate Sama’s services into their workflows. Lead the design, development, deployment, and ongoing support of tailored customer solutions, ensuring both business and technical alignment. Provide mentorship to team members by sharing insights, best practices, and support for professional growth. Stay current on emerging technologies, contributing ideas for product and process enhancements. Take full ownership of implementation projects, handling all technical aspects independently from start to finish. Break down technical concepts for non-technical audiences and deliver solutions that effectively address customer needs while upholding human-centered design principles.
Minimum Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in roles such as Implementation Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Software Engineer. A degree in Computer Science or equivalent is preferred, though equivalent practical experience is acceptable. Strong development skills in Python or similar web/scripting languages. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, particularly with AI/ML services. Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt and apply new technologies to meet project goals. Prior experience mentoring others and fostering team knowledge-sharing. Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities. Flexibility to work during late evenings and some overlapping hours with the North American team.
Job Type: Contract | Salary Range: Ksh 90,000 – Ksh 180,000 per month | Language Requirement: English
