Pipeline Development
Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates for both immediate and future roles. Use various sourcing methods, including Boolean search, LinkedIn, job boards, employee referrals, and alternative strategies, to find and engage passive candidates. Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitors, and salary benchmarks, and share this information with the Talent Acquisition team to refine recruitment strategies. Ensure accurate entry and management of candidate data within Greenhouse, the applicant tracking system (ATS).
Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements and team priorities. Provide regular updates on sourcing progress and market insights, and adjust strategies as needed based on feedback and evolving priorities. Maintain a positive experience for candidates from initial contact through to handoff to the recruiter. Build and manage a long-term database of engaged candidates for future opportunities, ensuring the candidate experience remains a top priority.
Candidate Quality
Deliver a high percentage of pre-screened candidates who meet role requirements. Assess candidates for skills, experience, and cultural fit, and continuously suggest improvements to the local talent pipeline. Identify effective sourcing channels and organizations that yield top-quality candidates.
Sourcing Metrics and Efficiency
Meet or surpass key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sourcing, including the number of candidates sourced, conversion rates from sourcing to interviews and hires, and achieving diversity targets. Track the time it takes to convert candidates from submission to active status, and work to improve sourcing efficiency.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in sourcing or recruitment, with a focus on building talent pipelines
- Proficiency in sourcing techniques such as LinkedIn, Boolean searches, and direct outreach
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (preferably Greenhouse) and CRM tools
- Strong communication skills for engaging candidates and collaborating with internal teams
- Ability to craft compelling outreach messages to attract top talent
- Basic understanding of data management and sourcing metrics reporting
Contract Type: Fixed-Term Contract
Salary Range: KES 80,000 – KES 100,000 per month
