Job Summary

The Technical Pre-Sales Consultant will provide solution-driven support to both new and existing corporate clients. The role involves working closely with the Business Development team to analyze client needs and ensure the delivery of tailored technical solutions that meet those requirements.

Reporting Line

Reports directly to the Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive and manage the pre-sales process, effectively communicating the company’s technologies and product positioning to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Analyze and align client requirements with product capabilities, helping clients understand the benefits.
  • Support the bid process with technical guidance, ensuring customer requirements are thoroughly understood and addressed.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure proposed solutions align with company capabilities.
  • Prepare responses for RFPs/RFQs/EOIs and participate in proposal development.
  • Lead pre-sales demos and presentations.
  • Attend client meetings to capture technical/business needs and translate them into viable solutions.
  • Deliver clear and professional technical documentation.
  • Provide feedback to internal teams on product performance and customer needs.
  • Coordinate with project and implementation teams to ensure smooth solution rollout.
  • Ensure accurate handover of functional and technical requirements post-sale.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned, including off-hours or in varying environments.

Key Competencies

Academic & Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related IT field preferred.
  • Diploma in Professional Marketing or membership in the Chartered Institute of Marketing is a plus.
